Born out of the historic Wiens Ranch, nationally known for raising renown champion cutting horses, Remuda Ranch preserves the best of Colorado country living. The Wiens are only the 3rd owners since the original homesteaders settled here. The rich history of the land is fascinating: the 1854 cabin still stands, the echo of tracks from the Kansas Pacific Railroad still show from time to time, and the Civil War created a need for lettuce and cattle suppliers in the area. While over 1,400 acres or roughly 81% remains Agricultural Open Space, the Wiens have designated Remuda Ranch for other families to now discover their own community and appreciation for the land.
